It was a great day in the OR today. Although one surgery was cancelled because the patient was too sick with an infection, 10 surgeries were still performed. The 3 OR rooms occupied by TNMS kept the mission staff very busy.  It was a long day and teams worked late into the night.

The great work being done by TNMS was honored today by one of the local companies in Cuenca that provides orthopedic supplies to the mission.  Long time volunteer, Nonnie Arthur, and her physio team have supported the business by using donated funds to purchase crutches, commodes, and other equipment locally.  Great rapport and mutual respect between TNMS and Lineas Ortopedicas has developed over the years.

The missing luggage and TNMS totes and bags finally arrived at the hotel and hospital early this morning.  There were many happy team members.
